The Helen Troke Badminton Academy was founded in 2006 by former Commonwealth and European Gold medalist and World Bronze medalist, Helen Troke MBE.  Since then it has grown considerably and now has over 250 members.
Last year was the most successful season for our players. Many players reaching silver and gold standard in Badminton England Tournaments. Forty six of our junior members were successful in being selected into the county squad. All coaches within the centre are fully qualified and CRB checked.

Latest news on the Helen Troke Badminton Academy summer camp 2012 Following the successful first year last summer, the HTBA summer camp returns bigger and better in 2012!
The camp will be for five days from the 23rd July - the first week of the summer holidays. Initial costs indicate about £35 per day for the whole days coaching and activities. The camp is targeted at Performance and County players. It will be held at either Porchester (as last year) or BCS, which is close to the beach... both for fitness and pleasure! Last year Helen attracted top players from around the country - it is a great way to make new friends and renew aquaintances! Interested?
